Harry

Harry is a rescued cat from Cairo, now safe and cherished in his forever home in the Netherlands.

When Harry first came to us, we weren’t sure he would make it. He had been abandoned in a horrific condition — weak and exhausted, with severe calicivirus ravaging his mouth, throat, and lungs. He had suffered so much, and all we could do was fight alongside him and hope he would hold on. And Harry did.

With urgent medical treatment, constant care, plenty of love, and time to heal, Harry slowly began to recover. His appetite returned. His strength came back. His eyes became brighter, and little by little, the frightened cat who had once been fighting simply to breathe began to feel like himself again.

Harry recovered beautifully from calicivirus. What once seemed like an uncertain future became a brand-new beginning. But we didn’t want his journey to end with simply getting better — Harry deserved a home where he would never again know abandonment, fear, or neglect.

And then, his forever family found him. Today, Harry is happily living in the Netherlands, surrounded by love, comfort, and the safety he should have had all along. He has gone from a frail, critically ill cat fighting for his life to a cherished companion with a family of his own.

His transformation is incredible. The cat who was once abandoned and left to suffer is now safe, loved, and living the beautiful life he always deserved. Harry was given a second chance — and he made the most of it.
