Aziza’s Story
Aziza is a rescued cat from Cairo, now safe and adored in her forever home in the US.
We are overjoyed to share that Aziza has finally found her forever family! This resilient girl is now living her best life in the USA. But before we celebrate her happy ending, we want to reflect on the heartbreaking journey that brought her here — because Aziza didn’t just survive… she fought for every second of her second chance.
Aziza was discarded by the very people who were supposed to love her. Alone and vulnerable, she became the target of unimaginable cruelty. A group of unsupervised children attacked her, and by the time rescuers found her, one of her eyes had ruptured from the trauma and her leg was shattered.
She was rushed into emergency surgery to remove her damaged eye and try to save her leg. The operation was grueling and the road ahead looked steep, but against all odds, Aziza pulled through.
For months, Aziza fought with everything she had. Each day of recovery was a battle — bandage changes, medications, gentle feedings, and constant care. But little by little, she began to heal. Then a loving adopter in Baltimore opened their heart to her, and all we had to do was get her home.
Aziza boarded her long-awaited freedom flight to America, and when she landed she was welcomed with open arms by the family she was always meant to have. Now her days are filled with snuggles, love, and more toys than she knows what to do with — all because of you. Thank you for making Aziza’s journey possible!
