She Cannot Walk, But She Still Nurses Her Babies.. Please Help!

Lucy’s Story

She was hit by a car and left with a fractured femur. Now this nursing mother is paralyzed, unable to move her body—yet she refuses to stop caring for her two tiny kittens. When we found this poor mother, she was lying helplessly after being struck by a car. Her femur is fractured, and the trauma has left her unable to move. She cannot walk. She cannot run. She cannot even escape when she is frightened. But there are two little lives depending entirely on her.

Her kittens are still so young, and despite the unbearable pain and paralysis, she continues to nurse them. She lies there, completely vulnerable, allowing her babies to feed from her because she knows they need her. It is heartbreaking to see a mother who can no longer move, yet somehow still finds the strength to protect and feed her babies. She needs urgent veterinary care, diagnostic imaging, treatment for her fractured femur, pain management, and hopefully surgery and rehabilitation.

Her kittens also need nourishment and care while their mother fights to recover. She has already suffered enough. Please don't let this little family face this nightmare alone. Please help us give this mother a chance to walk again—and give her two babies the chance to grow up with their mother. Every donation, no matter how small, can help save all three lives.

With hope, Marium K. Animal Dominion Rescue
